Running an English speaking comedy club in Brussels

An interview podcast giving the inside scoop of what happens in comedy scenes across the globe and dedicated to speaking to the mavericks in the comedy world. We speak to Xavier Rossey, a man who has been organising comedy shows in Brussels since 2012. Originally a musician, Xavier knew absolutely nothing about the comedy world, and what started as a one-off gig passing the hat has developed into a compulsory stop for comedians touring in Europe. Here is what he has to say on his experience as a comedy promoter:

[[02:41]] Rick Diaz and the best comedians to visit Brussels [[10:39]]

[[11:17]] Why American comedians and Australians comedians do very well [[19:21]]

[[20:29]] How to get audiences for shows [[22:25]]

[[25:11]] The genius of great comedians can be problematic and overcoming demons [[31:04]]
